David and Steven present, summarize and synthesize what the top thought leaders in "leadership" are thinking--and writing about--and engage the audience in an interactive discussion about how physicians can impact their organizations and their own performance from the current thinking of leadership giants like: Stephen Covey (The 8th Habit), Larry Bossidy (Execution), Jim Collins (Good to Great), John Kotter (What Leaders Really Do), Noel Tichy (The Leadership Engine), and Ben Zander (The Art of Possibility).

"Playing Well With Others" — How to Effectively Collaborate, and Maximize Leadership Effectiveness, By Working With Groups and Teams
Physicians will learn how to maximize their leadership effectiveness as they interact in group settings, with a special focus on issues such as communication, team performance, and conflict management. Participants will have an opportunity to identify their own predominant conflict management style utilizing the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument.
