One More Thing: The Case for Childish Thinking

The Year in Review

Two years ago, in April 2008, I delivered on one of my long-standing business goals: launch a monthly newsletter for my clients (existing and future).

I committed to bringing you valuable knowledge and information you could put to work immediately in your own organization.

I know from the regular emails I have received over the course of the last 12 months, that many of you have found value in our articles, our book reviews and our monthly feature called "One More Thing".

This month, I would like to review the many articles we have shared with you during the last year.  For those of you that joined us after our launch in April 2008, you may not have had a chance to read some of these earlier pieces.  This is your opportunity to catch up.

For those of you that have been with us from the beginning: Thank You, and you may find value in rereading selected articles.

Simply click on the link in the next section to access any of our previous newsletters by month.

The Reader's Dozen

Each month, we review a book selected to both engage and challenge leaders as they seek to make a difference in their organizations.

In honor of our two-year anniversary of publishing The Leadership Fit® Newsletter, we'd like to revisit the books we've reviewed during the past year.  We recommend each of these books to you as you continue down your own path to leadership fitness.

One More Thing: The Case for Childish Thinking

Child prodigy Adora Svitak says the world needs "childish" thinking: bold ideas, wild creativity and especially optimism.  Kids' big dreams deserve high expectations, she says, starting with grownups' willingness to learn from children as much as to teach.  Take a look at: http://www.ted.com/talks/adora_svitak.html
